Thirteen riders started off from the Ramat Gan Stadium and we wound our way through the park and on to the tayelet in Tel Aviv which mercifully, wasn't too crowded.
Following the bike lane along the Tel Aviv promenade we went into Jaffa port, past the old abandoned Dolphinarium and on through old Jaffa towards Bat Yam.
By this time it was getting really hot and sticky so we turned back towards Jaffa and the Clock Tower and one of our regular watering holes where everyone refreshed themselves.
I left the group after coffee and my usual croissant and wound my way back home as we were meeting kids and grandkids for a picnic. The rest of the group returned to the start at the stadium.
All in all, nothing too strenuous, but nevertheless interesting and a little different.
