Here it is...short and sweet. Ten of us set off on another HOME PATCH ride at 7am in first class weather doing a route that we have often done except for one short detour at Udim. This time we were led by Ted whom I am sure found it strange being at the head of the group instead of riding sweep. Well done Ted.
We stopped at one of our favourite "watering holes", the service station near Gaash and then headed for home after satisfying our thirst and hunger.
One little incident...Uri had a puncture just before Rishpon and believe it of not, his new replacement tube was also faulty. Sharon came to the rescue with her spare tube and Uri showed us that he too, is an expert puncture "macher". Josie also has to be mentioned as he carries a small compressed CO2 cylinder which inflated Uri's tyre is literally seconds. Not a bad idea for us each to carry one of those!
I personally enjoyed the ride and am sure all the others did as well. That's another 30kms. we can clock up in ideal weather and excellent company. See you next week.
